Ive read multiple things online. What is the best way to introduce our new baby boy , Gator, to our two older boys (both under just 1 year old) Pancakes and Iroh?

Right now, Iroh and Pancakes live together and always have. I have Gator in a separate cage that is placed right next to my two older boys cage.

I did swap beds. I tool Gators bed and placed it in Pancakes and Irohs cage and vice versa. When I did this they all started popcorning and seemed happy! This was reassuring. But I have had two of my boys fight before so I wanted to get some advice before we do floor time all of us together.

Thanks in adavance!

Hi and welcome

Please don't! Your two older boys are still right in the thick of hormonally challeneged teenage months. The advent of a baby can easily derail the whole affair. Sub-adult boar trios have a fall-out rate of about 90% before they reach adulthood (afterwards the fail rate is still over 50%). If you are unlucky, you can end up with three singles that won't go with any of the others. The risk is simply not worth it.
Boars are best in pairs. If that is working out, please do not rock the boat!

I really wouldn’t risk doing anything to upset the bond your boars already have. A boar trio is most unlikely to work out in the long term.

I have to agree too I’m afraid. I tried introducing a third boar and things completely backfired. Now one of the original 2 is on his own and now won’t take to anyone else in his space (I’ve even taken him to a rescue to try him with a few of their boars but nope!). He’s happy enough interacting through the grids but it’s just not worth the risk. You’d be better getting another friend for Gator.
