Yesterday I took my guinea pig into the vet for possible ear infection, and she came out with a respiratory infection and ear infection.
She’s on an antibiotic, anti inflammatory, and ear drops. I tried feeding her her favorite vegetables but she is refusing it. I understand she’s sick but I also realized she hasn’t eaten that much today, but I also wasn’t watching her every hour so i don’t know. Should I syringe feed or critical care?

A piggy who isn’t eating needs to be syringe fed either mushed up pellets or critical care if you have it.
Being unwell, experiencing pain, and being on antibiotics can cause lack of appetite so you need to weigh her every day (at the same time every day) to monitor her weight and enable you to adjust your syringe feeding. If she loses weight day on day then she isn’t being fed enough.
a piggy who isn’t eating any hay (or very little hay) needs to be syringe fed 60-90ml of feed in a 24 hour period.

Being on antibiotics, she may also benefit from a probiotic to help settle her tummy.

what medications were you given? Is she being give Pain relief every 12 hours? (Being given pain meds onc

I’ll add in some guides below which explain further

Thank you for the guides, I’ll have a look.
The antibiotics are meloxicam and ciprofloxacin
The ear drops are Baytril
Specifically 0.1mL for cipro.
And 0.25mL for Melox.
