I can't believe it! GRRRR!

I went into kayes petshop today to check on the piggies and other animals they have in there.
And there was two black guinea pigs about 1month old and one was rumpling, so i gathered that the other one was a female because the male sounded quite horny.(well alot horny!)

So I told a member of staff

Here is the conversation, I was perfectly polite and kind too

Me: Excuse me but I think one of them guinea pigs is a boy and the other a female, i've got guinea pigs myself
the lady: Yeah..... Ok ?

She said it like she really don't care!

I JUST WANTED TO SLAP HER AND SHOUT AT HER, but I don't want to get banned from the shop, I want to keep being able to keep an eye on the little animals when I go into town.

What if a little kid wanted a baby guinea pig and the parent buys the female and the female is pregnant, because it's only say what 1month old (they was hardly bigger than our 2week old baby pigs!) the female could die giving birth and the child would be so upset! Or even if I brought it (which i wouldn't do from a petshop) but what if I did! I would be so upset if it died! :tickedoff: I am SO angry!

You get that often love (don't mean you personally, I mean all). Time will tell for them when one gets pregnant hun
 
If I EVER worked in a pet shop, I would make sure that they're sexed correctly (I would never work in one though, if I did I would spend all my wages spoiling the piggies and other animals) and I would keep on checking too.

I am going to go in tomorrow before I go to hereford and if they arn't separated, i'm going to tell them again, and if they don't get separated i'll call the RSPCA.
 
You may want to put a * in the middle of your swear word Ali lol ;D

It's such a shame that she didn't even check they what sex they were, which indicates to me she knows otherwise she would have shown you to prove you wrong!

I feel that in some occasions such as this it's alright to buy from a pet shop...if this female is pregnant so young, she needs an experienced piggy owner to get her through it. I feel like going up there to get her out but i just don't have the time right now :-\

I am going in there to check if they've been separated if not, i'll say something again, but as I am going to hereford tomorrow I can't check friday afternoon or saturday morning :tickedoff:

I was just looking at the gorgeous black and white rabbits (THEY WAS GORGEOUS JEANETTE! one had black rings around his eyes and awwwwwh was beautiful) and i heard a horny rumpling (which i hear from even our babies piggies around their mummy sometimes, they haven't tried to hump her yet so theres no worries :D) and i was like OOOER (cause last time i went in there was only 1 black guinea on its own) and i looked in and there he was rumpling around this other black guinea pig, and she was obviously female or the other guinea pig wouldn't be making horny noises.

Cannot believe I was so polite and all I got was rudeness! :tickedoff: last time i'm polite in that shop! only being caring for guinea pigs!

Ooooo pet shops make me angry!

Are you telling me they have one in that's all white but has black rings around his eyes? If you are I'm off to get him now ;D ...I've always wanted a Blanc de Hotot :smitten:
 
They have like black on their ears too! Yes they're white, I think they have black on their paws too, I think. But seriously THEY ARE ADORABLE! :smitten:

I will go in the morning if I get chance too I hate the place with passion >:D As you know I have a very strong voice and will be heard then Shaz and Sars can go in afterwards and give them what for again ;)
