some cosies for my piggies to thier cage. It was very easy to do and I am so pleased with it as I found the perfect pattern of fleece, exactly like I wanted-leopard print:) I hope my piggies will like it:)I will try to post a picture of it in a minute

Has two layers of fleece which I sewed together , hopefully piggies will don't mind leopard print ( leopard would happily eat my piggies8)
 
The fleece is so large that I have enough left to make another one carpet for them and possibly a little tunel. When I clean the cage later today I will post a picture of how it all looks inside
 
Candy Floss - I think animal print fleeces look pretty good. I saw today as well tiger print and zebra ones.

I will be making those little carpets in different colours, I am planning to possibly paint their accesories, for example golden. Do you people think it is safe? I thought about car sprays?
 
you could try plasticote, its supposed to be non toxic when it dries i used it to cote my hamster toys i made to make them waterproof oh yh and its water resistant when dry lol comes in lots of colour's. i love animal prints too especially leopard and zebra :))
 
4 PiggiePigs - thank you for this advice, surely will have a look. I have a vision of a golden cage, just don't want to harm ma pets..

It is a shame really that on the market there are no tubes in nice colours only looking like from a circus don't you think guys?
 
Our boys have all animal print stuff and lots of camo, looks great and ...boyish rolleyes Stumbled across some cheetah print bunting recently which looks brill. The girlies have all pink hearts, cushions and pretty stuff - I just adore searching for daft little things to add to their pens :x :))
 
Guinea Pig Slave - yep, I understand you totally that you want your pets to have nice things. Pink stuff with girls must look amazing, could you possibly post some pictures?;)

I have as well a little wooden tunnel but I am not sure I can use it again as my previous beloved and very much missed little Shadow left us for rainbow bridge friends on 15th August, he was sick, we are not sure what it was but to be on the safe side would you suggest to throw it away and buy a new one ? (:...worried about possible bacteria). His cagemate is thankully fine.
