I know this guy called Joey - he's my girlfriend's friend and claims these days that I am the closest thing he has to a best friend. However, we have argued a lot in the past.
In person he is lovely, but online he tends to overreact insanely. He victimises himself constantly, and acts as though he has the most terrible life in the world when he lives a very nice, comfortable and happy life. He is melodramatic, and imagines things. He constantly blames me for my girlfriend's apparent "changes" which are in his head, then claims I am attacking him if I try to defend myself.
He is just.. Ugh.
I always somehow manage to deal with it, to forgive him..
But he just took it one step too far.
I showed him the photos of my cat Tiger's face..

not trying to be unsympathetic but... last week Pip's injuries were much worse than that - the entire underside of his chin and both sides of his lower lip were scabbed up because it'd started healing before we got back from holiday. So Tiger'll be fine, Pip felt a bit lighter too but he's heavy again now, and that's even after suffering more bites to the head that left my hands covered in blood on Tuesday. Must be someone rough on the block :3 She's gonna be okayy

That's new. Her skin has started getting icky on the outside, and it's all swelling around her "lips". It's from where it's spreading.

Then he went offline.
All I wanted to do was share the situation with him, and as if I weren't feeling horrible enough at having to have just cleaned blood from Tiger's mouth - he goes and flips the situation around, making out that I am attacking him, making the entire thing about him. My best friend is dying, and he would rather play, "Pity the Victim."
I give up.
