So I was cutting Lunas nails and she moved and I ripped her nail off. Clean off. There is blood everywhere and on her. Once the blood had stopped I put her in the hutch and she seems to be reluctant to put it down. Will she be okay? I've never ripped a whole nail off before.

I’d say take her to the vet urgently.

Please take her to the vet! That much blood can be very dangerous for piggies, and you’ll want to make sure to prevent an infection of the toe/nail area!

Hi

If the bleeding doesn't stop within 10-15 minutes, then please see an out-of-hours vet.

Otherwise, you can gently disinfect the area with some homemade saline solution once the blood has dried. If you have any concerns, or notice any signs of infection in about 10 days or so, please see a vet. The toe will be sore and a bit swollen at first, the quick will shrivel up and the nail, if/when it grows back may be thickened and somewhat distorted. Once the initial pain has settled, it will not impact on the mobility.

First Aid Kit: Easily available non-medication support products for an emergency (includes how to make saline solution)

If you have any concerns, please see a vet.

I was proper panicking when I wrote the initial post. Once she had cleaned herself up, it looked fine. I disinfected it and she was bounding around like usual. She managed to spread the blood on herself and me, that's why I panicked and it seemed worse than it actually was.
