Hutches Inside - Advice And Photos Please

Hi, I think I will have to get the piggies an hutch for inside in the dinning room as I am not trusting the cats to have an c&c cage. Has anyone got their pigs in an hutch inside? I am a bit worried about the wood being soaked in wee as I know hubby would complain about it.

Where are you based? @Nibbles&Holly ? I had a lovely indoor hutch made for me by a company based in Barnsley- South Yorkshire.

My Guinea Pigs are kept in a heated shed. I started off keeping them in a C&C but was concerned in case a cat got in . I am much happier with them in a hutch.

you can line the floor with lino to make cleaning easier i was actually looking on boyles pet housing last night and noticed they have that as an added extra option

i'm sure it was that site! i'm sure most hutch makers would add it for you if needed though, or you could do it yourself quite cheaply

I agree lino flooring is great .

I was thinking of getting a cheap hutch for fostering but the flooring on the cheaper hutches will be a nightmare to keep clean.

I like the flooring on my hutches



I have painted the wooden surrounds with Wilko garden shades paint any everything is wipe clean
