Hi, I have two boars and I was given their hutch for free by a previous guinea pig owner (they cleaned it etc) and I’m not sure the measurements off the top of my head right now but I wanted to check if it looks okay for them, it will be from before I set it up and got my boys. Thank you!

I have been trying to look for bigger as they haven’t fully grown yet but I only have a small garden and my mother (who is terrified of all creatures relating to rodent like ones) won’t let me let them live inside the house. Sorry if I don’t make sense, just unsure right now!

Monty likes to stay on the second tier spot in a pigloo whilst Atlas stays at the bottom under a wooden stick hide at the left end, I also have a tube for the two of them but as the space isn’t very wide I am trying to think of toys to keep them stimulated also.

@atlasandmonty Is there a hole in the roof? That would need fixing.

It looks okay but without measurements we wouldn't be able to tell if it was the correct size for 2 boys.

No that part comes off so you can put stuff in but it’s attached now. I will measure it tomorrow. :)

I thought it looked like there was a hole in the roof too where the roof didn't quite reach the ridge bit.

This was before I set it up, and had the boys in there and have pushed it up to the ridge now so it’s attached. :)

I think this is the same hutch our guinea pig sitter has, the nest box area might be quite small? And can your boys navigate the ramp? Our girls didnt attempt the ramp when they stayed with the pet sitter so they came indoors at night to stay in their cage.

They both can navigate the ramp but only one goes to the top to stay anyway and the other stays in the run at the left end in a wooden hidey with a fleece pad but I am looking into a better hutch for them as I can’t move them indoors.
