Is it okay for piggies to be in a hutch with a run on the grass open all the time?

I'm not an expert but I'd say damp grass = poorly piggie in the winter, chilly mornings.

I would only in the summer time, I had my piggies outside in the spring/summer on grass 24/7.. well there was no grass left after a week, and because I kept it covered most of the time, the ground was always bone dry, but as soon as autumn set in and my brother gave me his shed I now keep them in there, so much easier for me not to keep covering and un covering them if its sunny or miserable, and the piggies seem happier too Plus i still have a spare run so if it is a lovely dry day i let them have a couple of hours on the grass
