hi everyone- I'm on the isle of wight & scorching temps down here-like a lot of other parts of the country.
i've just checked the inside temp of an unused hutch at top of garden- its reading 37 degrees at 10 am & it will get a lot warmer in there as the day goes on.
so just a reminder hutches can be fatal in this heat xx

thanks so much for this timely reminder, we have a thread here detailing the dangers of heat Hot Weather Management And Heat Strokes

You have got it really hot there, hoping it cools down soon for you and your piggies

thanks-its a bit too hot for my liking-think its about 30 now outside, but internal hutch readings are still in the upper 30's:eek:

it is 23 degrees here !so piggies are out causing mayhem.the other item to be aware of is hutch covers need to have the plastic bit that covers the front up,as ive seen news that piggies have passed away due to plastic covers still being in place.
