I have 3 sows and the hutch they are in right now isn't really big enough for them, so I am putting my boar, Roy, in their hutch and putting them in Roy's hutch because it's a bit bigger, but it's not really ideal because it has 2 floors, and the bottom floor is a run. I'd like to buy them a new hutch, but I'll have to sell one of my hutches first, to make room for it so this might not be for a few weeks, or my Dad might be able to adapt the hutch a bit, but I thought I'd look anyway. I'm looking for a single-storey hutch big enough for 3 sows, but I might like to add another sow in a few months so if there's one big enough for 4 sows that you know of please let me know, if not, a 3 sow hutch is fine, because I don't know for definite if I'm getting another guinea-pig in a few months or not. I don't have much money to spend on the hutch, under £80 if that's enough but I could pay more for the right hutch. So does anyone know of a good hutch suitable for 3-4 guinea-pigs?

Would you prefer a single story or a 2 story hutch? Ideally, 3 guinea pigs should live in a minimum 5ft by 2ft by 2ft hutch. I have this one for my 4 girls and there is plenty of room http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GIANT-6ft-Sin...all_Animals&hash=item4ce9a7a4c8#ht_3604wt_942 I know that that is out of your price range as you have to pay p&p on top but there is a 5ft version as well and the seller does lots of other good hutches.

A forum member brought this from the same seller the other week but I can't remember who it was http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LARGE-54-DOUB...all_Animals&hash=item4cefe1720a#ht_4671wt_942

For good quality hutches, I suggest you have a look around ebay as there are lots on there :)

Thank you :) I'll have a look, I really want a single storey one because a few years ago one of my guinea-pigs fell down the ramp in his hutch and damaged his back and I don't really like ramps much anymore. I've still got them but I've adjusted them a bit to try and make them a bit safer. I might ask Dad if we can make one, but if not then I will probably get the one you've got, it looks great :)

I've just spoken to Dad and we're going to make one :) He made me a hutch for my first guinea-pigs and it was a great hutch and I've asked him for a 6ft hutch so we're going to build a big house for them all. I know it sounds stupid but I get excited about new hutches :))

A new hutch is very exciting. Great that your dad is going to make one for you. Hope you spoil him rotten on Sunday. x

Dads are officially the best right!
You should save quite a bit of money on materials that way so youll have plenty of change left to spoil them rotton with snuggle sacks/tunnels etc!x)
Oh and a new cage is VERY exciting loL!:))
