Hutch size for 4 females

Hi, I currently have 3 females in a 5.5x2 ft hutch, with a permanent approx 8x3 ft run attached (this is however closed off at night). A young female in my area is in need of a home and I’d really like to offer her one, however I want to make sure that this will be enough space for all 4 girls. Thank you!
 
6ftx2ft is the recommended minimum size for 4. You would be best looking for rabbit hutches as most places don't appreciate the size space guinea pigs need and it's best to go as big as possible. I have the chartwell 6ft 2 storey but seriously contemplated a walk in one by manor pet housing :))

A walk in one would be amazing! Thanks for the reply, I’ll have to think about what I want to do. I definitely have enough space to extend this hutch and it was a DIY anyway, so that’s an option... guinea pigs are an addiction and it’s a good job space is limited or I’d have 100!

Perhaps best not get advice from me :whistle: I only control my number by knowing I can't have more :lol!:

Same here! I'd love more but can't afford it and the OH has firmly put his foot down seeing as we only signed up for 2 and ended up with 5! (it was buy 2 get 3 free when I got Velvet and Betsy!)

I don’t think I’ll ever stop wanting more; I love my girls more than life itself but there’s always room in my heart for more animals :))
