Hello,

I have purchased a hutch which will be delivered to me on Wednesday which has an upstairs and downstairs in it. It's a wooden hutch, fairly large and spacious.

However, I am going to put in there 4 guinea pigs (males) but I am wondering if it's safe to put them outside in the daytime and at night at this season. (Maybe it's too cold etc which is what I'm asking)

I'm just curious to know what other people do who keep their guinea pigs outside.

Thanks.

My indoor pigs aren't going out yet; not until the temp stops dropping low at night, only then will mine me moving into the shed with the others :)

I would advise because of their age and that theyve been indoors , its too cold. Until the weather stops being so unpredictable (as niki said especially night-time)

I have two sows in my backroom that will be joining my shed crew when this weather becomes 'stable' .

It shouldnt be too much longer....
