So the guinea pigs hutch is in the process of being done up ready for them to move back outside in a month or so. I'm getting new cage liners and a fence around the hole where the ramp is to avoid any accidents as Pumpkin's eye sight is deteriorating :(

My question is, is there a way of making the hole around the ramp smaller? It was designed for buns so it's much larger than it needs to be and I bet the girls would like the extra space upstairs! I hope you understand what I mean, if not I'll post piccies :))

I have a hutch with a ramp and a hole meant for buns, I made a correx base for the top level and cut a hole in it only big enough for the pigs to get onto the ramp , the correx is strong enough over the rest of the bunny size hole to hold the weight of all 3 piggies and not bend :-)

Hope that makes sense!

Ahh, that's clever! Where can you get correx from?

Does anyone have any other ways of doing this? I know someone did it with a wooden chopping board but I wouldn't know how to go about securing it, so it doesn't move or fall.
