I'm wondering what is best for a single guinea pig to be outside in a hutch which peanut is at present or get him a cage and bring him in with me? What do you guys think?

I don't think either is a 'best' option. It depends on what you want. If you have the ability to bring your piggy in then there is no harm, but they must be in a well ventilated room that doesnt get too cold or too hot. Its the same with a hutch outside, you dont want them to overheat and you need to provide extra warmth and protection measures during winter. Or you could do like me, mine are in a hutch during the nicer period of the year and they come in for winter :)

Mine started off in a cage indoors, I then got my shed and built a nice big hutch for them. They are now very happy in their quiet surroundings. ;)

If he is going to be on his own it might better to have him inside? so he can see and hear stuff? Depends really would it be more interesting to be outside? could he have access to the grass?

I have decided I'm going to order peanut his cage on Tuesday and then at least It will be sorted for winter but I'm not sure yet if I'm keeping him outside or inside decisions decisions lol but he will be def coming in for winter he's not freezing out there
