Hutch Insert/divider

Hi, we get our two new babies next week. I have the hutch all ready to go, however I've just wondered if it may be better for them to have the whole hutch open plan rather than the side section with the hole for running through into. (The divider bit if you know what I mean...)

I will have a nice cosy house in there anyway so they will have an area to hide.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Are they outdoors? If so I would leave the divider bit in. It will be that little bit extra protection from the weather. I have a homemade "haybox" that goes in mine for added cosiness

I would say the same as Kelly, keep the divider in, helps to keep the warmth in.
