After having surprise babies last weekend I am trying to work out how to keep them all (4) I already have 3 boys ( 1 pair and one single ) and 4 girls that live together. I was looking at this hutch as need something asap. I am planning on converting my outhouse into one huge pen for all the girls. There would be 7 girls in total if I kept them but for now would just keep the 3 baby girls with their mum in this hutch? Or I could put my single boar and the baby boy in here?
Why are guinea pigs so addictive? xx

This is the bluebell hutch from pets at home if I'm right? It's a great hutch for 2 or three pigs, but of a tight squeeze for four on a long term basis.

yes its that one. Super will get it then. Hopefully get my dad on the job of converting my out house into a huge play area/living area for all 7 girls when the nice weather starts so it will be fine for either short term x x

It looks like there is lots of rooms for toys and hides. I felt bad mine were outside piggies once I joined this site but they have started to go in the run already on a daytime. They get indoor time too and cuddles. I'm thinking they are happy so not going to rock the boat. Not sure about Willow and the babies yet as I think she has turned into an indoor pig lol x x

There is nothing wrong with having an outdoor piggy just so long as you make sure they have ways to keep warm if needed. I brought mine in as I preferred it to trying to sort them out in the rain.

I brought their hutches into the brick outhouse in November and they are still there. I have a roof and light so easier to see to them in there than outside as well. Only thing I have to the door at dusk as we back onto open farmland and I spotted rat droppings on the floor a few times x x

It's good that you have an outside to shelter you and the pigs.

I would not keep the 4 girls outside as they is more of them and with them being only babies and being 4 pigs you need to have a closer eye on their health and behavior xx

Thank you. I dont think we are keeping the baby girls now. My outside piggies come in everyday for a few hours play and in the summer we all literally live outside so see them lots. X x
