I have decided against getting my boar neutered and I want to adopt a little male piggy friend for him instead. Would this hutch be big enough for the 2 boars? It would have a tarp over it so even if it is raining they can access the run attached. According to the advert, the length is 147cm and depth is 84cm, so the run alone would have about 1.23m squared of space. (and then obviously the sheltered bit wooden bedroom as well.) Is this enough?

That’s not really suitable.
Guinea pigs need a single level floor space to be big enough which is a minimum of 150cm x 60cm but we recommended 180cm x 60cm for two boys.
You may be able to throw a tarp over to protect from rain, but they cannot be out and have access to the run area year round - it would be very hard to keep them warm enough when they have access to the on the cold floor year round which would mean they would have to be locked into that bedroom area at some point and the bedroom area is far too small.

Ok, thankyou! Do you think a heater in the winter would be ok? My girls have a big outdoor hutch which is similar to this one, but homemade. They have a heater in their bedroom area, but they still go out in the run in the day and nighttime even in the winter. :)

A heater is fine but the bedroom area is still far too small. The hutch just isn’t a good option in my opinion. They really should not have access outside particularly during night time in the winter. Guinea pigs can not tolerate temperatures that low their comfort range is 18-22 degrees and should not be exposed to wind, rain or temperatures that low

This is the hutch that my two boys have. You would be looking for something which is large and off the floor (ie that the piggies aren’t living directly on the concrete all the time) and enclosed which can have thermal and waterproof covers securely fitted to it, and blankets etc will likely need to be added underneath the covers to keep them even warmer inside. A two storey hutch is fine but the second upstairs levels only counts as bonus space and doesn’t count towards their cage size.
My hutch is 150cm x 60cm but they have full access to all of the shed floor
