Hi, does anyone know of anywhere that I could get a cover for a 6ft long hutch? :-) Ive seen ones for 3ft, 4ft and 5ft but none for 6ft..... failing that does anyone have any fab ideas for homemade covers? In my experience homemade ones tend to be a bit flappy!

My DIY cover favourites are:

Temporary greenhouse (tied down) but does still get a bit flappy on very windy days.

Childs plastic playhouse - the chunky kind not the tent kind. They're quite often secondhand on freecycle or selling cheaply on ebay/freeads/gumtree.

Keter type plastic wheelie bin cupboards. Handy as they have doors you can open in day and close at night. Never seen one cheap though.

All of them can become a heat trap in summer though.

this is one 6ft cover, this company do other covers as well so they might be worth checking out.

Yep the Scratch and Newton ones are good. They also do the thermal spacey one which is good for winter and summer and comes with a fly screen which is attached with Velcro down the sides and totally removeable...worth the money.

over the years on the rabbit forum, 'the ebay hutch cover man' has been mentioned alot! i don't know the details but if you look on ebay you may find him! apparently he makes custom size hutch covers which others have said are great quality. more expensive but worth the cost :)

i make him sound like some mythical creature but that's all i can remember! :)):)):))
