So yesterday I found a large sheet of green tarpauline down the side of the house that used to be used to cover up the garden furniture when it was raining and I thought 'this is perfect for covering the pigs' hutch up with!' I spent about an hour washing off all the slugs, beetles, mud and dirt off it until it looked like new and then today after half an hour with a pair of sharp scissors, I now have a perfect hutch cover! I'm very proud of myself! :))

Well done :) My rabbit has a hidey hole out in the garden and we used some lovely green taurpaline to cover it up.
Dad came home a few days later and looked out into the garden. "What's my groundsheet doing out there?"
OOPS! We ran outside but by then the blackbirds had already decided to lay many of their marks upon it so its still out there now.
Then my rabbit decided under the rosemary was a much better place to sit, lol! Bless him! :D

The tarpaulin I got from the pound shop, for a tent I think actually had special holes in! So we attached cup hooks to the back of the cage and the bottom front and at night I cover them with it and it stays nice and snug, that and the duvet cover over the top and they are in a walk in plastic greenhouse as well!:)):))
