hutch big enough for 4 piggies?

Hi all, I am having a bit of a nightmare just had my garden done and now I am struggling for enough room for my 4 piggies, they currently are split into 2 pairs and each have a 5 x 2 x 2 double storey hutch plus 1.5 meter runs. Thinking of putting both pairs in one hutch but do you think they will have enough room? planning to put in a second bedroom on the ground floor so they have 2 bedrooms but a little concerned about them having enough room.
thoughts on this gratefully received!
 
You are intending on moving both pairs in to one double hutch (with each pair having a single level 5ft x 2ft living area)? (correct me if i read your post wrong)

4ft x 2ft is the minimum recommended living space for 2 pigs - 5ft x 2ft will be plenty big enough for two - are they boys or girls?

Ive got 2 pairs of boars and each pair lives indoors in a 5ft x 2.5ft cage and they have plenty of space to stretch their legs ;)
 
Thank you, put them together for the first time last night for a while lots of hip wiggling, chasing and talking but no fighting so am going to keep my fingers crossed that they all get on! They are all boars, my original 2 (as profile pic) and 2 rescued boars which i rehomed late summer last year after being badly neglected and living in absolute filth - loving the spoilt life now!
Hopefully they will learn to live in harmony and enjoy all the company!

You put 4 boys together? You are very brave, the only time (and it's very rare) that ive heard of 3 and 4 boars living together in harmony was done so with them having oodles of space (as i recall they had a whole room to themselves - like 18ft x 10ft - so plenty of space to get away from one another).

You run the risk of ending up with all single boars if things don't work out... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you - if it were me i wouldn't run the risk and would probably split them back up in to pairs, especially as they are outdoor pigs, you cannot keep an eye on them all of the time - boars work better in pairs imo rolleyes

yeah when i tried to have more than 2boys it ended terribly i had to split them all up :( (however they die a while ago, but i wouldnt of tried ever with more than 2 boys) so i hope ** boys go well and better than mine did
