Do they go?

I'm thinking of turning to the use of fleece bedding as Burdock seems to be sneezing a lot with the shaving.

I like the look of the C&C but i only have space for 160cm by 55cm tops, do the grids come in different sizes?

Thanks x :)

People usually use fleece in indoor cages - is your hutch outdoors? If you don't like shavings then try Megazorb or Aubiose - both are horse bedding (there are reviews of them as 'stickies' at the top of the section). Megazorb is made from cardboard pulp and is soft and absorbent with no smell. I use newspaper, then a layer of megazorb, then hay - in my hutches.

I use newspaper, towel and fleece indoors

No the grids are standard; 14" x 14"

I've used vetbed once in a hutch, it was a nightmare cleaning it so reverted back to using short- cropped straw over newspaper & topped with hay.
As Sophie has said there are quite a few horse beddings that have proved excellent for piggies. Reviews are at the top of the housing board :)

I use newspaper, megazorb and hay, and in the winter when its cold I buy those cheap fleece blankets and cut them up into four and place them in the hutch as well, my piggies love to get under it :)

Well they seem to be struggling with the shavings ive got so this morning i took the shavings out and at the moment they have a layer of newspaper and then a thick layer of the paper bedding i use.

If i could bring them inside i would, but i cant so they will have to stay in the garage.

I'm going to try the fleece, i dont see a reason why it wont work in a hutch (?)

If not ill try the horse bedding, Thanks all x
