As most of you know, I have three outdoor piggies, Paris, Disney and Ebony.

I've decided that I would like to get them a new bigger two storey hutch and there are so many on the internet that I do not know what to go for.

Any ideads or links would be great.

I have been considering the Primrose Cottage from P@H as it currently has £50 off but cannot decide .............................. anyone have this?

I don't have a Primrose cottage myself but have rehomed some piggies to someone who bought it on my recommendation after seeing them at Pets at Home, and it's lovely! A really roomy hutch, and the ramp has sides on too so is quite secure. And it has proper bolts on the door.

Apparently it took them quite a few hours to build though, as it comes flat-packed! So as long as you're handy with a screw driver!

All in all I think this is the best value hutch out there at the moment, with the £50 off

yeah I think you are right Sophie, we went to the P@H in Ipswich at the weekend and they had one on display, its really roomy but I'm not too good with flat pack and neither is Pete, but my ex brother-in-law is very handy with a screwdriver!

ditto - i agree its a great hutch and if i had bought mine - that would have been the one i would have gone for.

flat pack is not to be scared of, the pieces are well made and go together easy.

as the doors are big it would make cleaning easy so thumbs up from me

I have PAH Primrose Cottage. Great hutch took my pigs a few days of veggie treats to encourage them to use the ramp but all pigs now use ramp easily. I bought the scratch and newton cover as well I figured if i was spending that much on a cage i may as well protect it.

I know all about ramps! mine refused to use theres so I had a tunnel made, they go up and done at about 30 mph now!

I have a scratch and newton cover at the moment and couldn't be without it ..... especially after last nights weather! but will have to invest in a bigger one :(|)

Was it difficult to put together ?

Don't think it was too bad to put together although i didn't witness the erection as I was away when my OH did it! Mine are so suspicious of the ramp I have put an old towel on it so they don't slip on the wood as it is quite steep. Everytime I clean the cage out I shake the towel clean so there is no sawdust on it, they always take ages before using the sawdust free towel, spend ages sniffing it first. :{
