Today my guinea pig jumped while in his cage and he landed on his side and after a few min he got up and started limping and I'm worried he is seriously hurt. We just got him a week ago and he is about 2months and not sure what I should do.

Get him an appointment with the vet.
May I ask is he by himself or he’s to be paired with an existing piggy? If he’s by himself you really do need to think about getting him a friend. I don’t know where you’re located but have a look at rescues. Send them an email to let them know your boy is looking for a friend.

It could well be a sprain but he will need to be examined and prescribed pain killers/anti inflammatory and only a vet can do that.
