Hi I’ve noticed my two girls are hunching over and touching there genital area . They still seem to be active and eating and drinking ok . Should this be a concern

Can you see them chewing after they have done this?

If I watch closely I can see my two chewing afterwards. Also they do it quite quickly. Just bend and then sit back up. If you’re girls are taking ages and seem to be biting the area maybe they need a vet visit. But I’m sure they are eating their poops.

I agree. Piggies will do this to eat their poops, you will see them chewing afterwards
If you are concerned it’s something else, then please do see a vet

I’ve noticed that my guinea pigs are scratching quite a bit is this normal . There is no signs or any sores or hair loss

My piggies are a bit itchy at the moment. I got them checked over at the vets and I am treating for mites (again 🤦🏻‍♀️). Get them checked over. It’s easy and cheap to treat. 👍🏻

I will keep an eye on them . They are being kept indoors at the moment. I’m not sure if it just the dry air that’s Making them itch

It might be, but a vet check is never a bad idea if you are seeing excessive scratching

All vets have different charging structures - you would have to check the consultation charge with your vet.

Mine are also around £30 for a consultation

Maybe I’m just getting a bit paranoid and anxious that something is wrong
