Humpty is relaxing after his day at Ayrs guinea pig rescue and rehoming centre. We went to try and introduce him to a new friend after Solos death. Unfortunately we came home alone again Ted1 and Humpty hated each other at first sight and Ted2 did not like Humpty. He did a lot better than any of us were thinking he would as he used to be really unhappy with Any piggies being in his space. After living beside Solo (Solo hated Humpty in his space, but liked Humpty to live next-door) he's realised how to be a piggie. So so proud of this little guy. :luv:

Thanks. It may just be a waiting game. Piggy daddy doesn't want to get him neutered as think he's scared of the outcome. So we will possibly be waiting on a baby pig to come into the rescue centre.

Thanks. He seems happier as he's now got a 2x5 c&c and is loving zooming about. (he was in a 3x2 previously, then a 4x2)

Such a shame it was unsuccessful this time, but the right friend will come along!

We hope so. I'm kind of swaying towards a baby. As most of the single Boars in the rescue are very dominant or sadly some have never lived with another piggie since babies. Humpty was separated from his brother Dumpty at 6 months old. And he was surrendered to the rescue with him. There he wouldn't accept any of the other piggies. He lived beside Solo for a few months and has come on really well so I'm hopeful.
