Humidifier & Essential Oils..

this may be in the wrong thread and I apologise if it is, I was just wondering, I bought a humidifer today and was going to use it with some peppermint oil in it (good for keeping spiders away), it's not near the guineas cage but I was wondering if it was still safe for them? I know they have sensitive respiratory system so I just wanted to check before I put it on

We do not recommend using essential oils in rooms that are inhabited by guinea pigs. it can cause adverse reactions/irritations.
