How's this work then? Piggy likes being on his own.

My two boy piggies have fallen out big time. It resulted in poor old Chocolate having his ear torn. I separated him (temporarily) to heal, but a week later he is still happy on his own!

1) He follows me around the room pop corning;
2) He jumps up onto my chest for a snuggle (never did this before);
3) When I let him out of his hutch for a run round, he pop corns every where. Runs. Jumps back in his hutch eats a little and then goes out for round two. Looks pleased with his new pad.
4) He squeals when he sees me.

I am lost for words. I have a lone Piggy.

Other boy piggy living happily outside with others.xx>>>

Sorry, pressed the thanks button instead of reply. Dduurrrrr.
He could just be the exception. Sometimes a gang of boys get on, sometimes a piggy is happy alone? Not really sure. He seems to be enjoying the 1 - 1 time he has with you now, so, as long as this continues I wouldn't worry. xx

yah, i think as long as everything stays that way, everything should be fine. if you're worried maybe you can keep them next to each other with a divider in between so they can atleast see eachother and chat. some piggies just hate being with other piggies but will happily live as neighbors:)

I have split off the other posts into another thread of their own. It can her found here: http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=37015

I have most of my boars alone as they simply will not take to another pig. But they are very happy with a mesh divider in between them and their cagemate so the they can still interact, snuggle and chat through the divide whist not having to share their territory. They won't seem to have it any other way!

I need some sort of hutch that I can do that with. I think it may be the only soultion to this problem.
