Hi please can other owners share how they disinfect grooming brushes?

I was thinking of giving them a spray with F10 and then leaving them to dry, followed by a proper wash in insecticidal shampoo and then dry again.

Would this be sufficient? I'm also nervous about any residues on the brushes then being brushed onto their fur that they might lick off.

I'm a chronic worrier.

Thanks

I just soak the comb I have in F10 for a couple of hours and then dry it off. I occasionally use a brush and I just get as much fur as possible from the bristles and give this a thorough spraying with F10 and let it dry. You only need F10 you won't need to following washing with an insecticidal shampoo as well. F10 is sufficient as @Piggies&buns has already stated above.
