hi i have a guinea pig thaTdoes not want to youch me when i was checking on it and befpre he tryed to do a leep of faith and landed on his feet what should i do

he jump in the air radomly ethen though i had food
he seems ok but i dont know weather to be on the safe side

he went from my lap on a chair ethen thou i was trying to grab him from doing it i was about to put him in his cage (i was siting on a gaming chair foor hight refrance)

How high would you say your chair is? Did he fall to the floor? What flooring is it, wood, carpet?

Keep a close eye on him for any changes in behaviour, such as refusing to eat, lethargy and dragging on any foot/limb.
Please pick him up, have a look in his mouth for any teeth issues, do a full body check. Observe his walking, is he walking normally?

I would also recommend weighing him daily, at the same time each day. Doing so will help you track if he is eating or not.

I hope he is ok x

what should i do i am curently keeping an eye out to make sure he is okay

If he is still at large, place one his huts or tunnels close by or create a hay box out of a lidded cardboard box with just one smallish door hole cut in and place it close by to lure him in. Cover the door hole and pick him up for a health check and putting him back in the cage. Make sure that he can move around normally. If in any doubt, please see a vet.

Please accept that guinea pigs are not really lap pets; they get rather bored or they may get spooked by unexpected noises and blind jump. Give your piggy your full attention when you cuddle but put him back in the cage when do other things. See how he is moving when in cage (limping etc.)
