How to stop cats bothering piggies

Hi,
We have 2 neighbourhood cats bothering our guinea pigs. They haven't (yet) got into their run or hutch, but they are frightening them and keep coming back regularly. We have blocked a hole in our garden fence (leaving a little hedgehog gap), but they have found a way round after just a few days.

So my question is... are ultrasonic cat repellers safe for guinea pigs? Google says they are safe for pets, but equally many seem to be aimed at rodent-pests, so would surely bother the piggies.

Does anyone have any experience, or better ideas of how to keep the cats away?

Thanks!

Sara

We have invested in one of these after constantly finding cat poo on our lawn, not nice! It’s great but you need an outside tap and it works a treat (Sorry cat owners) The cats soon realise that your garden is not a great place to be and stop coming in, even when it’s been turned off for weeks, they have good memories.
Obviously place it facing away from your piggies.

Thank you - that looks ideal. We have an outdoor tap close to the piggies. Much appreciated! 🙏😊
