Hi guys

This is probably a really odd problem but my boys have recently worked out the ramp IF its lined with a towel or similar. The thing is, when they go up and down the towel slips down the ramp and they end up stranded! Any idea how i can attach my towel to the ramp? They need it for grip or they cant manage. Advice greatly appreciated x

I don't know about using a towel, whatever you use its important it doesn't have loops, i.e. some towels where the thread is looped. I ended up using carpet, drilling holes and then using cable ties to loop through to secure. Or you could look at using double sided sticky tape - the industrial kind. Just ensure there are no fumes from it, and let it breathe before letting the piggies back in.
Hope that helps.

I don't know if this helps but I bought a cheap fabric doormat with a non-slip base (from The Range I think) and trimmed it to size, then lay it over a strip of correx and secured the ends under with cable ties. My ramp is made of two grids bent at right-angles, also cable-tied together, which the correx and doormat are secured to with - surprise surprise - more cable ties!

You could maybe try one of those non-slip mats you can get for the kitchen, for protecting work surfaces from hot pans?
