could you try carpet / vetbed on it ? Mine have a small one in my c&c covered in vet bed and I have had no problems and three different piggies have used it at different times.

put them at the top on a rollerskate?

but seriously - dont worry about it - they will in time just explore it for themselves

i have a similar cage and only one of my girls uses the ramp
or at least i have only seen one downstairs

who know what the get up to when i am not looking

They'll figure it out eventually don't worry! Unless they're like my boar Ralfie who could not deal with them at all bless him, seemed to prefer to have his feet firmly on the ground level :)) He's just an old man set in his ways though, all my others loves their ramps and went mental running up and down eventually :) best to just let them figure it out by themselves, they're nosey things and curiosity will get the better of them x

Abby was small and i didnt think she could make it up her ramp...but low and behold! she was hungry enough and made it up with a running start! lol Now they both fight over the ramp...one wants up and one wants down, oh and then because one is up....the other wants up too... OOHHH, just like my kids! lolx) gotta *** them thoughx)

My girls have tunnels made by Sarah from Chucklebunnies. They were a bit nervous of going down them so I put them at the bottom with some food. When they they finished the food felt ok going up the ramp back to the nice warm bedroom and now love it and go up and down all the time.

I have a tunnel from Cosy Cavies ........... its great, makes it a bit more fun for them too

Could you try raising the ladder so that it isn't so steep for them? I used to put a bendy wooden bridge/tunnel under my ramp, bent into an "L" shape, so that it elongated the ramp and made it less steep. You could also try putting some favourite fresh food half way up and see it that tempts them!

I put melons at the bottom of my ramp. Knowing that they're greedy little b... anyway they soon found out what to do with it.rolleyes
