Hi! I was feeding Kancil veggies by hand and then he started sneezing/choking. I honestly couldn’t differentiate it. It only happened when I was feeding him veggie.

Could it possibly be a flu? The sound was a heavier pitch and it reminded me of a cough. Is there a way for me to differentiate it?

I also searched up (from google) some piggy flu symptoms (eye discharge, red eyes). Other than what I mentioned above is there any other visual clue if he got flu or not?

My guess would be that if he was eating and starting coughing, then it was just that he was eating too fast on this occasion.

Guinea pigs don’t get flu. They get bacterial respiratory infections, the symptoms of which are crackly breathing sounds in the chest. Eye discharge, sneezing is not usually the first symptoms and instead might come later in the case of a URI.
URIs are very serious and always require a vet check and antibiotics.
