Two level hutch into one. I have a Chartwell
Deluxe Rabbit Hutches | Luxury Rabbit Hutch | Chartwell Double | 5ft Pet Home

and I want to have the option of opening up both levels. I have absolutely no clue on how to go a out doing this, and since my dad had promised to sort, he hasn't I'm intending on just doing it myself.

So, how do I cut the hole in the floor bearing in mind the floor is already insitu. Also I want the ramp to be in two parts, I'm struggling to explain what I want really. but all idea's very much welcome, @BossHogg or alternatively pop round with you tools.! @Tim

My hutch is split into smaller levels using wooden slats onto which a false floor sits, the ramps are guttering from Wickes with carpet double sided taped to the bottom. ;)

If you want me to pop over with my hammer and chisel, I'll be happy to do so. :) I think I understand what you want doing

Tim, I'd love for you to pop over with your 'tools' er hem...:ban:
Anyway, yeah, do you reckon we would need to build ramp and flap before coming over and then cutting the whole in the floor and then assembling?

I've done something similar before within a cage i.e. using guttering and it worked perfectly.

Feel free to have a tinker with guttering and wood beforehand, then I can pop over with my 'compressive' tool kit to poke a hole through for it and do any final fitting. I've plenty of wood and screws knocking about too :)

I feel ok(ish)
I have wood (and nails and screws)
I can come :D
