I have finally got my hands on some forsale signs and now I need to know how I tie them to the cage to create a second story in my tall cages? How to attach walls to the edge and on the ramp also.

Any help? x

Is it a C&C cage you have ?

If so you can make a 2nd level with grids (cable tied to the sides) and sit the correx (for sale signs) on top - just to keep them in place you could make a couple of small holes in the correx and cable tie it to the cage sides to stop them slipping forward.

My ramp is wooden with hooks at the top which hook over a c&c grid (I used a mesh grid at this point so the hooking in would be safer/tighter).

xx

No, I have a normal 'double sized' cage, 1 level and I'm trying to make a second level from Corricated plastic, I know people have done that before. Or do I need the mesh grids for it to sit on? x

I would have thought that a support level would need to be added first. Either grids or wood perhaps.

Yes, I agree with piggypig. I had a 2nd level to a shop bought cage I used to have and the level was made from wood cut to size. Not sure the corrugated plastic on its own would be strong enough.....

I think the grids will be easier for me to get hold of then wood. I have 3 for sale signs which I can use (I have two large cages) so enough for the levels, bridge and walls... I'll get hold of some grids, wheres the best place to buy them? x
