How To Clear The Strong Essence Of Hay From A Room...

Hi! So my piggies live in my bedroom (The only room they can be in) But unfortunately I have really bad allergy's and I desperately need to clear my room out. As soon as I walk into the room all I can smell is hay and it is all I am breathing in. Is there any way to clear a room up a bit? Thanks guys.

All I can suggest is lots of time with the window open and storing the bulk of the hay elsewhere.
Plus you could give them the hay in a hay bag, which would reduce the amount of exposure for you.
Maybe if you post a picture of your cage and set up people will have more ideas.

this is the one smell i can't stand lol !! it makes me sneeze...... mine are in the living room and i keep the hay in a cupboard in the utility... when i walk into the living room all i can smell is hay.........

Window, hoover. if you were thinking long term possibly an air purifier but I'm not sure how effective they are! Good luck!

Yes choose dust extracted hay, store it away from your room and a hay bag but also what really helps me is to remember to take my antihistamines every single day - right through the whole year. That's the single most effective thing to do if you have allergies. Keep topped up!
