I noticed my peruvian had ear wax when i was petting her and so i took some toilet tissue and rubbed her ear a bit and there was a good bit on the tissue. I was wondering whats a good safe way to clean there ears? is there a solution, like could I wet some tissue, would that help get it off? how far deep should i go? just wondering if theres a way that really cleans them good, cause i doubt the prevouis owners ever cleaned them so she probably has a lot in there.

I know not to use a q tip from something i read a long time ago.

you can get piggy ear and nose wipes from pet shops, but i honestly think a wet tissue is better. what does anyone else think?

Personally I wouldn't use the wipes as you don't know whats in them chemical wise. I use a cotton bud but be careful not to poke in the ear as like with us it can cause damage. Guinea Lynx says you can use mineral oil. :)

Must admit my pigs ears don't get dirty or waxy for some strange reason. rolleyes
