How can I calm my guinea pig down? She is bothered by sudden noises (usually when napping  lol)
She always has been more sensitive then her friend.

Can you give us a bit more information?

Are they indoor Piggies?
What sort of noises bother her ?

Yes

They are indoor piggies. They have a giant cage. The one who squeaks is a bit shy. She is bothered by loud footsteps or anything loud next-door.

With my lot I found it just takes time.
Initially they were jumpy and reactive to everything.
Now they are fairly laid back.

One thing that really seems to calm ours down ( as I have a wild 7 year old daughter :) ) we leave a radio on low to help drowned out noises and to help them get used to noises as well. :) this has helped we have noticed. Hope this helps.

Leave your radio on for background music that will swallow a lot of the unexpected noises. Talk to your guinea pigs softly, but constantly while in the room.

Nervous guinea pigs can struggle, especially at first when their instinct takes over once they are spooked by an unexpected noise. Over time, they get used to it.
