how often should I full clean?

I just ordered a 5 x 2 c & c cage. I use pine shavings and do daily scooping. My question is how often do I need to do a full clean on a cage that size? It will house 2 young boars.

You need to do a full clean once a week so that it doesn't smell.

I agree. I have a 120 double cage with two in and do a full clean once a week and spot clean daily

I don’t spot clean daily (but I do take out old food and specific piles of poop daily) and I clean similar sized cage slightly more than once a week - usually every 5 days.

We do a full cage clean twice a week to make sure the fleece doesnt get damp, and poop scoop and wipe out the hay trays daily. After 3 or 4 days I think there is a noticeable aroma of piggy pee! But we do have quite a lot of piggies...

Okay, I do a weekly full clean to start and if I notice it being stinky or gross sooner then a week, I will full clean more often. Thank you for the help everyone!

Like you I use wood shavings in a C&C cage.
I usually clean the worst areas every 2 - 3 days, more often if needed.
The cage gets s full clean every 6 - 7 days

I clean out my 5x2 c & c cage once a week with 3 piggies,use softacard bedding.hutches with aubiose 6 feet,once a week with 4 piggies in.

I clean my 2 boys out and my 6 girls 3every 3 days.Theyre on fleece/ vet bed and the cage gets a bit smelly if I don't.
