How often for messy grease gland bum baths?

I was wondering how often most people give bum baths to piggies with overactive messy grease glands?
Piggle has an overactive grease gland, she's had 2 bum baths for it a month apart, plus a vet trip where she had a very thorough health check in case it was anything medical (she's fine). 3 weeks later her rear is getting a bit brown and crusty again.
Is every 3 weeks too frequent for grease gland bum baths? Is it literally just do it when she looks a bit crusty?
We followed the brilliant forum bum bath guide and she quite enjoyed her baths so its not a problem doing it, but I dont want to give her dry skin or stimulate extra grease production by washing her too much!
 
Oh, my two are the same, thick black grease clogs their fur! The boys and me are a slave to it, about every three weeks especially in the summer months x
 
Maybe I'll bath Jezzy floof's wee pants at the same time, I've been putting it off for a warm day since April as she takes a long time to dry out but seeing as she's expecting a visitor in the next few weeks
@Merab's Slave I want her all fluffy and smelling nice (PS Jezzy would like me to mention carrots here, politely, she's a very polite girl, she just smells of wee a bit, but very politely!)

Its quite unusual in a younger lady like Piggle but I think @Claire W had a similar thing with her girl so we checked with the vet after Piggle was still getting all yucky pants after recovering from a UTI and seeing as she still had good poops, and Piggle is very healthy except for a crusty greasy rear! I'm glad she likes bum baths (Piggle is a weirdo and likes baytril too, and she loves pooping in my hand while I shampoo her posterior with Gorgeous Guineas shampoo) as they will be a regular thing for her!
 
Yes Ellen has a yucky grease gland. She’s 4 now but has had it for about a year. I just give her a quick bum bath every 3-4 weeks. My late Eliza had a really yucky grease gland at 6 years old.

It’s more common in boars but can happen in sows too
