My guinea pigs love their pellets, but I am scared I am over feeding them I tend to just take a 1 cup scoop and barely fill it up to cover the bottom is that too little or too much?

Piggies should have 1 tablespoon per piggy per day of pellets. They should fill up on hay, hay and more hay.
If you are using a one cup measure but even though you aren’t filling it, you are at risk of over-estimating. They do only need one tablespoon per pig per day so using a tablespoon measure rather than anything bigger is best as you can’t overdo it
