At the moment my two piggies are in a cage in a light hallway, just off the kitchen so I can interact with them a lot, but the only way they have no strong sunlight on the cage is to have them at about knee level.
I can move them to somewhere where they're about 5 feet off the ground, which is a much better height for interaction and not seeming to be a giant when approaching. However, it's a bit further away from a window and therefore not quite as light, and a little further away from the main bit of the house, so they wouldn't see me quite as much.
Where would you have them? What's more important? Thanks :)

It should be ok to keep them in the same place, providing the sun light isn't shining all the time, maybe you could add a pull down blind? It would be better to keep them out the direct sunlight, but they'd be better off in the main part of the house.

Sunlight's not really a problem, it's more of a choice between low height + interaction & light v. higher height + less interaction and less light. If that makes sense!

Probably best to leave them where they are then.
