Hi everyone
I'm a bit bored and quite interested so I would like to ask these questions
Who has the most guinea pigs?
Do you foster?
How many guinea pigs have you adopted
 
I have 15 Guinea pigs, I do not foster and I haven't adopted.
 
I know I don't have the most here, but I have 9 piggies. But, I've had 18 total piggies, and out of all of them I have adopted 2. But my future piggies will all be from rescues.
 
Currently have 9, though once I have more space (shed) I'll be looking to get 2-4 more girls. Or more, depends if I fall in love with piggies in need!

I've read somewhere on this forum about someone with 40 boars, and another with a huge herd of 30+... If I could, I'd be one of those! :D
 
I have three piggies, probs the least on here :))

Two boars from PAH adoption center, and the latest addition to my ever expanding furrybrood is from a rescue :)
 
I have 3 boys at the moment, all from a local rescue. One pair and a lone boar. I'm getting another 3 in a couple of weeks :<>
 
5 Piggies here (I am trying to get number 6 (from a Rescue), but OH says no :( )

All four girls were purchased, my boy is from a Rescue
 
I have three girls. They're currently fosters but we're planning on adopting them soon. :))
 
I have 15 and 8 are either from rescues or ive rescued them myself :))
Edit: And I have fostered, I had quite a lot over last summer from the local rescue and I loved it! x)
 
I just have 3, a pair of girlies and a lone (or as I call him my loan lol) boar.
The boar isn't technically mine so I can't pair him up with another, but his cage is next to the girlies for company.
 
We have 6 at the moment , 2 sets of a boy with 2 girls , were moving soon and will have more room , so , are setting up 2 new c & c cages .
Also with the extra room were going to look at fostering , especially as were going to have 2 spare cages !

Hey, I'm building a new hutch. It will be 5ft x 2ft and 2 levels. How many guinea pigs do you think I could put in there?

I have 10 guinea pigs now - 2 of which are from rescues. I did used to have about 30 but it was an awful lot of work, I didn't get rid of any I just stopped getting new additions and naturally numbers decreased. I think 10 is a nice number for me - since 6 are longhair it still takes quite a lot of time to keep their coats nice as they do require regular brushing and bathing.

I will probably get one more girl to even out a group I have going at the moment but that will definitely be it!

I have 17 piggies in total. 5 live in the house of which 2 are rescues. I have 3 girls outdoors awaiting to join my outdoor herd and all 3 are rescues. I have a herd of 9 living outdoors where 3 of them are rescues. I will only ever have rescues from now on. I dont foster but have looked after some of Wiebke's tribe whie she was on holiday xx
 
Great more space and fostering! Wish I could foster but we dont have the money to house them or the space! Oh well we are adopting 1or 2 new girls.[ cause if we foster we have to giove them back, boo hoo! ] But great idea to foster!
 
Cool , your a foster and youvegot about a million piggies of your own! What do you mean rescued yourself, do you hunt the streets or something?!
 
I have 4 of my own, I think they would suffer if I took on any more. They are all rescues, I also foster and can have anything up to 12-15 foster piggies at a time.
 
I only have 3, two boys living together, and a lone girl.
I am working on getting her a bigger cage and then will get her a mate, but that will be it for me.
I cannot see how I would be able to manage more
 
We have six, four boys and two girls. Would love to adopt two more later this year to total us up to eight drool
OH has even suggested about moving so we would have more room :x:x
 
27 piggies now, 6neutered boars and the rest girls. All live together outdoors in summer in a large shed with access to big grass area specially for them,indoors in winter ,they take over the conservatory floor with hay filled bedding boxes round the sides. Wish I could post photos.Keep meaning to ask my grandson to show me how!
