CAROL-ANNE
Junior Guinea Pig
How many pigs can I keep in an indoor space 4x4ft with a small loft. It already takes up most of my floor space so this has to include enough space to run I can't give seperate floor space.
I might be wrong but 6x2 is only 12ft sq 6x3 is 18ft sq mine already have 16ft sq.Maths not my strong point.
Thanks think I will give rescue a call. The RSPCA minimum recommendation is for 2x6 ft or 12 ft square, so with your cage, you are well above.
If you want more piggies, I would recommend going from a couple to a foursome as trios can be problematic in terms of outsider problems, especially when you cannot date at one of our recommended rescues. Preferably look at bonded sows that are younger and smaller than your existing couple, so they won't upset the hierarchy and still have each other for company.
Youre not wrong I just jumped in with my C&C image in my head..maths is clearly not my strong point eitherI might be wrong but 6x2 is only 12ft sq 6x3 is 18ft sq mine already have 16ft sq.Maths not my strong point.
Thanks. Sure the pigs don't care if we can count good or not.Youre not wrong I just jumped in with my C&C image in my head..maths is clearly not my strong point either
