How Many Pigs Can I Accommodate?

Hi!

I have a Ferplast Cottage Large - COTTAGE LARGE | Indoor rabbit hutch, made of wood - Ferplast
It's a two-storey indoor hutch, and the two main floors are 129 X 68 cm (these are the external dimensions). There is an additional house (like a third floor), which is 40 X 50 cm.

I was wondering how many pigs could I house in the cage. Currently, I have two. I could easily care for to 6 pigs, yet I don't have the space for a larger cage. I don't think that I could house more than 3 pigs in it, but I wonder if even 3 would be too many? I don't want them to be crowded in there or to not have enough space for their own house/cuddle cup.

I would say this this is a good size for 2 sows, and actually a bit small for 2 boars.
I certainly wouldn't add any more piggies at the moment.

I would say 2 sows maximum too.

Thank you both! I suspected it would be too small for a third piggy, but needed to check, as it does have two full floors.

Oh well, one day we will get to have a piggy herd

It goes by ground floor space not total space.Pleased you have done your homework before taking on more.
