Hi all

I have got a 4f -2f indoor cage. I have one piggy (rescued) at moment and getting another from rescue next week .For this size of cage is it only big enough for 2 piggys. If i decide to get more guinea pigs in the future would i be better getting another cage.

Thanks Nicky rolleyes

4ft x 2ft to give 8 sq feet is the bare minimum for two piggies, for more piggies you will definately need a bigger cage

http://www.guineapigcages.com/ has a good chart you can refer to

all the best with your rescue piggies, Eleanor

Hi Nicky
4ft x 2ft is the recommended minimum size for 2 piggies.
If you were to add to your pair you would need a bigger cage :)

Edited to add: Posted at same time as Eleanor :))

If you are pushed on floorspace, you can add several stories by going upwards with C&C cages - have a look around in housing and get creative!
