Hello,
I was wondering how many piggies would you fit in this cage I have attached an image of. It's 120cm by 58.5cm I currently have 2 in there.
Just so people are aware, the guinea pigs also have a large c&c play pen and a large outdoor grass run that they use one or the other every day.

That does not quite meet the minimum requirements for two piggies. The minimum is 120 by 60.

But like I said. They get put in another large pen basically only sleep in this one. So I should get another one? It's only out by less then 2cm

Although they have exercise time they are still living in the cage. It does just about meet the minimum requirements but if you can go bigger that is even better.

That's sounds like a good environment for a pair of piggies, as you have daily access to an indoor or outdoor run :) But I would not add another guinea pig to that set up, firstly because trios often don't work (I know this to my own cost!) and you might upset the dynamic between the pair you already have and end up with 3 pigs who don't get on at all, and also because 3 pigs would be over crowded in that cage, as there will be times when they will be shut in there without access to the runs, and they may fight and get irritated with each other due to lack of space.

That's good, as long as they are out practically ALL the time. If you are like me, however, and have school/work ect, it might be better to get a bigger cage.

My partner works days and I work nights so I'll put them on the grass when I wake up and my partner will put them back out in their c & c cage when he gets home and I'm at work. They are still only 12 weeks old so pretty small. If they grow to be big piggies then I'll buy a bigger cage. :) thanks for everyone's advice :)
