How Many Hidey Houses?

My guinea pig hutch is quite large and I know I need to provide places to hide so they feel secure. As with most outdoor guinea pig hutches, it is two stories with one open room and one closed room on the top story. I can't find any good quality but affordable houses that fit into the closed compartment. Would it be okay if I just put extra bedding in there and had other houses downstairs and in the other room or is is necessary that I put a house in there?
 
Thanks @Tim @Emi I got them from a various places. The squbes I bought from a member here, they are a square with a hole in which is padded all the way round very similar to the strawberry houses etc. I also have small padded fleece tunnels which the pigs really love. Plus I have cozy seats, larger scale version of the cuddle cup as they just end up squashing them.

I'll try and get some photo's of them, there is a lady I know who makes really good ones that don't lose their rigidity when washed in the washing machine.

Thank you very much for all your help. I'm getting guinea pigs at the weekend and I'm trying to get stuff together for them so they are as happy as possible!

Betsy those beds are fab. Wonder if they also ship outside the UK.

I also thought these octopus ones I saw at the bottom of your link look good for hamster owners. "Small animal pet hamster octopus warm hanging bed hammock toy house"
 
I have a similar 2 storey large hutch but four piggies. We made a second "bed" area downstairs (once when we had to split into two separate levels and two pairs). In the top one we just pile it with hay, in the bottom one they have a log tunnel.
