Here are my guinea pigs and there cages!

1# Name of guinea pig(s) living in cage: Milly(Pregnant with only about 1 week to go!)
Length:37 1/2 inch.
Width:20 inch.

2# Name of guinea pig(s) living in cage: Romeo(The boar thats the dad)
Length:28 1/2 inch.
Width:16 1/2 inch.

3# Name of guinea pig(s) living in cage: Lilly,Lulu(two adult guinea pigs)
Length:37 inch.
Width:14 1/2 inch.

Also when milly's pups are born were keeping all of them...the boys will go in with there dad and the girls will stay with there mother.so if you could PLEASE tell me how many i may pute in each cage!?PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post! Thanks!

4' x 2' is the minimum recommended size for a pair of pigs, then add 1' in length for each additional pig - so 5' x 2' is for 3 pigs, 6' x 2' is for 4 pigs etc.

37 inches is only 3ft - and 20" is under 2 ft wide, so this is not really big enough for a pair of pigs.

28.5" is just over 2' and 16.5" is less than a 1.5 ft - I would say this is not big enough to keep a pig in at all.

Same applies to the last one - 3ft by just over 1ft - not big enough for a pair.

Sorry!

You really need to think about space if you want to keep all of the babies, as it's not fair to squash them up to fit them in. Perhaps consider C&C cages where you can extend and modify, and it's very cost effective

well they only sleep in there cages in the day time there outside in a huge guine pig run!and when its cold they also have a pen for the indoors....so they basically only sleep in them...

But i dont have the space in my house for something bigger...i wish i did though!

a silly question, but not in the run together at the same time i hope :red

Even if they do have a run during the day, I still wouldn't put any more pigs into your existing cages overnight - they will be over crowded and likely to bicker if they don't have enough space, especially the boars :)

Because you have girls in the house the boars may not live together very well - boars also tend to need more room then girls in the long run

I don't mean to sound nasty here at all but guinea pigs have been known to have 10 babies! if you intend to keep them and can't extend your cages when 2 of them are already too small for piggys what are you going to do? :(

well shes not pregnant with more than 4,i can tell you that! also right now I'm going to go and buy one of thoughs kidy pools...and I'm either going to pute the boars in there or milly and her female babies(the sows) in it...it depends witch sex theres more of...:red

P.S the other 2 females that i have are both agressive so they can only be with each other(there best friends!):)

well I'm going to go get a kidy pool...and then(depending on witch sex she has more of will go in there)Also shes not pregnant with more than four!

Basically I'm going to say the same as everyone else,
there cages are very small and need to be made larger
this is roughly the setup you will need(this is mine)

Basically i have 4 cages, 2 nero 4's(which are not cost effective) and 2 2 x 4 C&C cages which are the better option
each one of mine is suitable for a pair each so basically you could have
one cage for you bonded girls
one for dad and one boy baby
one for mum and one girl baby
and the remaining cage could either have two sows or two boars,so this is what you need to accomodate your currant pigs and 4 bubs providing you dont have 4 boys as then one would need to be neutered so he could go with mum, that is an option but the whole neutering process requires you to have a fifth cage instead of just four so basically hope for the right sexes and it will be fine,
you can be more room effective than i have been if space is an issue but bottom line if they cant have at least a nero 4 per pair then maybe you should look into rehoming a few,
with girls and boys in the same room or space they will be more inclined to argue as it is without putting testerone filled boys in cages that are to small.
check out this site,it has all requirements and cage designs and teaches you how to build them too
